Since 1992, the National Capital Region (NCR) Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association (VTAA), has held an annual Job Fair to uphold the spirit of the Virginia Tech motto, Ut Prosim: That I May Serve. The goal of this annual job fair is to link outstanding job candidates with companies from Virginia, Maryland, and DC Metro area.

Who can attend the job fair?
Anyone can attend the job fair, not only Virginia Tech students and alumni! We get a mix of students, graduates, those with advanced degrees, and people with varying degrees of work experience.
HELP! It has been a while since I have been to a job fair. What can I expect?
We suggest that you check out the Virginia Tech Career Services Website here. Virginia Tech Career Services will also be presenting "How to Make the Most of a Job Fair" at 2:00pm ... an hour before the job fair starts. Come learn how to work the room, what to say to employers, and what they'll expect to hear from you!
How much does it cost to attend?
The job fair is FREE to all job seekers!
How should I submit my résumé?
Please submit your résumé by February 28th at 5:00 p.m. for inclusion in the résumé book which is distributed to all attending companies. Please e-mail your résumé in Word or PDF format to resumes@ncrhokies.org.

I've missed the deadline! What can I do?
Although you have missed the deadline to have your résumé included in the Résumé Book/CD, you can still attend the job fair. Be sure to bring plenty copies of your résumé!
Will the job fair be held in inclement weather?
The job fair will be held as long as the Northern Virginia Center remains open. In the event of inclement weather, check this website for updates. Announcements will also be made on local television and radio networks.
