The Capital Alumni Network (CAN) flag football season starts the weekend of September 10th. All games are played on the weekends and are typically played between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The league consists of 40 teams from various alumni organizations with each team playing 10 games. The season concludes with a single-elimination tournament the first 2 weekends in December. For more information about the league, please go to www.capalum.org/.
Game play is 8-on-8 with 5 males and 3 females (minimum) on the field. This is a no contact league with line blocking and rushers. Rules are similar to many other flag football leagues. Reffing responsibilities are done by each team as a requirement. If you'd like to volunteer as a ref, please contact the coaches. The league rules can also be found on the CAN website.
If you want to join the team, please contact one of the coaches first! Anyone is welcome to come out to watch games or join us for the other team activities.
